GIS developments are used by governments and corporations to control spatial information, but that is only the beginning of what they can do. The entire design and information needs of an event can be designed in a GIS. This is especially important when the focus is on OHV recreation and travel over large areas with the inherent risks of the remote back country.

    I wholeheartedly support this event and the idea of expanding the OHV trail system. Too many trails have been closed already forcing more people onto fewer trails. Great job!!!!

      Thank you, Bob. Yes, dispersal of impact is one of our best tools to create a sustainable OHV recreation system. Fortunately, Rio Blanco County is one of the places where they understand using OHV equipment as tools to manage the land and they are extremely OHV friendly. It is a big place and the people have open minds and big hearts. I want to live there!
